“There would be times we wouldn’t eat for up to 7 days. We would just sit there starving.” Abdul shares, recalling the hardships his family faces.
“For this reason, l had to find this job at the factory, but my earnings are not enough to cover school expenses.”
Abdul’s ambition burns brightly despite his circumstances. He dreams of not just completing his education but reaching the highest level - he wants to obtain a doctorate and secure a job that will change his family’s future. “I want to study. I want to go to school," he says with conviction. “But the circumstances are bad, and we have no money.”
